[101226] 2AM, leaping beyond Ballad... Sexy + Powerful "Crazy Stage"
In the evening of 26th at Seoul AnAmDong Goryeo University Gym 2AM held their first solo concert with the name 'Saint O'Clock'. From ballad rock, dance and more, across a variety of genres proved that they are versatile(?) idols.
The first song was 'You Wouldn't Answer My Calls'. Like being awakened by their calm voices at 2AM's stillness, they appeared on stage while singing 'You Wouldn't Answer My Calls'. It was like appearing on top of the clouds with 2AM's sweet voices unfolding on the stage. Following are songs "No More", "First, Don't Turn Around', 'To Love Again', 'Sorry I Couldn't Make You Smile' that showed the launching(?) 'Branded Ballad'.
They presented different kinds of charms through the medley performance. They sang girl group songs 'So Hot' (Wondergirls), 'Hot
Issue'(4Minute), 'Bad Girl Good Girl'(MissA) in their own style. They then transformed into a dance group wearing shiny blue outfits when they performed the song 'Bang'.
The beauty of that day's concert was the solo stages. The first performer was vocalist Chang Min. Chang Min performed an explosive singing and attracted the attention of the audience with 'New York' and 'Sexy Bomb'. Especially at the second half of the performance, he boasted his abs from the results of his diet and excercising.
The one that caught the baton next was Seul Ong. Seul Ong presented his masculine side while performing a sexy dance with 'Beautiful Monster' with a female dancer and at the same time, showed his sexiness and powerful aspect. He stripped his shirt when he was trying to get the girl being snatched away from him. He showed fantastic harmony with the back dancer that was practiced for a considerable period of time.
Maknae Jinwoon showed his rocker temperant performance without regrets with his electric guitar(?). The Jinwoon that used to show fun and young expressions and the way of speaking transformed into a rocker singing 'Hysteria' on that day's performance and used up all his energy during the performance. The last performance was 'Kkap Kwon' Jo Kwon's glaring dance that attracted attention. Jokwon passionately sang 'Telephone' while wearing the LED glasses as a point of his choreograph.
With the atmosphere at the concert being heated up, it was followed by 2PM's dance track 'Without U' and DJ DOC's 'I'm This Kind of Person' made the audience all stood up.
At the second part of the concert, they returned with ballad again. With the songs 'I Did Wrong', 'Can't Let You Go Even If I Die' and 'Like Crazy', they reaffirmed the name 'The best ballad group among Idols'.
2AM Seul Ong said "It's a waste that (our) first solo concert has come to an end. There wouldn't be a group called 2AM without the 4 members and the staffs here".
Jo Kwon stated with happiness and thrill "2010 was a very great year to us. I met Seul Ong-ie hyung in 2006 and I met Jin Woon and
Chang Min in 2008 and debut as 2AM. We had our first solo concert and even had our first regular album in 2 years and 3 months.' After a while, he said "To be able to digest(?) the concert schedule with my already busy scheduled really made me feel burdened. Even though, to be able to do this, I'm very happy.
Could it be that Jo Kwon was thrilled by the fact that throughout the concerts, it ended safely, he cried while singing 'This Song'. The members that was mentioned also cried a river of tears.
Meanwhile, on this day the concert starting from the 24th, there was a total of 10,000 (Aggregation from their agency) audience that went for 2AM's Seoul Solo Concert. Fellow groups from the same agency Wondergirls and 2PM showed up at the concert to show support for 2AM's first solo concert.
