[101122] Taiwan, even with the Taekwondo incident, the popularity of K-Pop is still amazing.Although the atmosphere in Taiwan is still tensed, the popularity of Korean idol groups is still the same. If we look at the largest music site in Taiwan, G-Music, on the 22nd, 2AM climbed to the #1 spot, and six of the top 10 songs in the chart are songs from Korean idol groups. Not only did 2AM's first full-length album "Saint O'Clock" rise to the #1 spot on Asia site, even in the chart including Chinese songs altogether, they climbed up to #7 spot. SNSD's "Gee" and "Genie" were ranked #2 and #5 respectively, securing their popularity. Apart from that, JYJ ranked #3 and 2PM ranked #6. Moreover, on the main page of G-Music's homepage we can see the advertisement for FT Island's concert which will be held on the 25th in Taipei, Taiwan. [omit news about FT Island] On the 18th, during the Asian Games competition, after Taiwan's representative for Taekwondo, Yang Shoo-Choon, was disqualified, Taiwanese set fire on Korean national flags and showed a parody of Wonder Girls' "Nobody" and created a tensed atmosphere. I don't even know why the Taiwanese athlete was disqualified, but well, we shall not comment on the political aspect of this.
The highlight is that 2AM is REALLY popular in Taiwan-China-HK as well. So I really hope that the Taiwanese fans get to see them for real soon!
台湾,内地的亲,你们对2AM的支持好棒!希望你们可以早日与2AM见面!

korea's rising in the asian region. just look at k pop, k-dramas, k movies... their quality's steadily moving forward unlike other countries. and of course we'll be compelled to it. besides. the artistes they produce. a lot of them are really good (like 2AM heehee)!
can't rmb where i read that '2AM #01 in Taiwan' article but apparently they got 10%, and the rest of the singers on the chart got an average of 2%, besides snsd who got 9%. SEE THE BIG DIFFERENCE?! ;-D

It's amazing how 2AM's "Saint o Clock" album beat other KPOP artists on the top spot. Their ballad album is timely in this winter season. I hope this success does keep on coming. They deserve it. They're talented and I know that their songs will last for a long time
