Utchasa + Idol?... SBS new comedy program "Showtime"SBS presents the new comedy program "Showtime" with comedians and idols. "Showtime", which is planned to have it's first recording on December 17th, is the new comedy program to substitute "People Who Search For Laughter" (aka Utchasa). It is an on-stage comedy show. The difference between "Utchasa" and this new show is that instead of idols being guest stars on stage, they will actually have their own segments. For the first recording there will be 2AM, KARA, Secret, Super Junior's Shin Dong & Ye Sung, ZE:A's Hwang Gwang Hee. Apart from those there will also be the central figure of Cult Two, Kim Jae Woo, Yang Se Hyung, Moon Se Yoon. Comedians from "Utchasa" will work together with idols in various segments. For recording that day, there will also be Jung Bo Seok, who garnered interest in "Giant". Producer in charge, Ahn Chul Ho PD said, "This is still a pilot, but when it becomes a regular show it will be aired around mid January. Viewers will be able to see new sides of idols doing comedy." 2AM's segment will definitely be super hilarious...with Jo Kwon especially...remember the recently World Vision Song short feature, where they acted as reporter, bodyguard, movie actor & doctor...

I'm curious about this show. Being a comedian is hard work. Really, really hard work. Usually comedians create their own skit, then present it in front of the producers. If they get an 'okay', they'll go on stage and show their skit. But sometimes those who made it on stage did not made it on air. Those who fail to get the 'okay' have to rethink their skit. It is absolutely hard work.
So I wonder how these idols will do it.

I was skimming through Gag concert and seriously it's no joke. Having to come up with FRESH ideas every single time. it's difficult. This will be a challenge. But knowing these 4 boys, they would pull it off splendidly and have great fun doing it.

i'm actually not worried about 2AM at all, wherever they go they provide laughter but if they have to do this show everyday or everyweek then its a problem...
its funny because i've always imagine seeing Kwon in SNL lol
